Fast Foods or rightly called as Junk Foods are the foods that are ready-to-eat. They do not need reheating or any preparation. They are generally sold in restaurants, food stalls or food carts. Fast foods are popular because they are served fast. They are also not expensive and their recipes are easy to prepare.
Are Fast Foods Healthy?
The Straight answer to this is NO, fast foods are not healthy at all. Fast foods lack almost all nutrients that are essential to keep our body fit and healthy, instead fast foods contain lots of Calories which make our body unhealthy.
Fast foods are usually the Processed foods which are not good for you and you should try to avoid them to the max. Also, Fast foods have been linked to various serious health problems like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, unwanted increase of body weight/fat, unease in breathing and even cancer.
Fast foods are also high in sodium, fat and sugar, which are all known to be bad for you. Diet and exercise are the only ways to lead a healthy life and you should try to eat healthy and keep active as much as possible. Eating fast food once in a while or as a cheat mean once a week will not hurt, but if you eat fast food every day, the health consequences may outweigh the benefits for sure.

- Increased sodium levels can lead to your body retaining excessive water, leading to bloating.
